Queensland Health is committed to delivering safe and equitable genomics healthcare.
Led by the Office of Research and Innovation, the Queensland Genomics Program works with health services, researchers, consumers and other stakeholders to advance genomics across clinical care, public health, research and innovation.
The program supports a broad range of activities, including workforce development, service improvement, research translation, consumer engagement, data and digital initiatives, and statewide and national collaboration. Together, these activities help build the systems, capability and partnerships needed to deliver genomics-informed care across Queensland.
The Genomics Consumer Advisory Group helps ensure consumer and community perspectives inform the development of genomics initiatives, resources and priorities across the program.
The resources below provide further information about the Queensland Genomics Program, including current initiatives, consumer resources and previous genomics programs in Queensland. For more information, contact the Genomics Program team at ORI_Genomics@health.qld.gov.au.
